The Future Has Arrived

Neon Dreams Arcade brings Foxglove County the newest electronic amusements from Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other distant markets management refers to collectively and somewhat inaccurately as “the Far East.”

Our collection includes racing cabinets, rhythm games, fighters, shooters, puzzlers, dance machines, and several titles whose instructions have not yet been translated. This has not prevented anybody from developing extremely strong opinions about them.

Import origin, release year, cabinet voltage, and relationship to local reality may vary.

Important Guarantees

  • Most machines remain where they were placed.
  • High scores are deleted only by staff, power failure, or unknown intervention.
  • No cabinet has been conclusively proven haunted.
  • Any voices heard during attract mode are probably included in the game.
  • Prizes are awarded when inventory permits and metaphysics cooperate.
  • The popcorn was made recently enough for legal purposes.

🎟️

Prizes!

Earn tickets and exchange them for rings, plastic fangs, keychains, novelty handcuffs, stuffed animals, or whatever is physically present behind the counter. Prize availability is theoretical.

🍿

Popcorn!

Warm, salty, and perhaps prepared today. Ask an Marcus when the kettle was last cleaned and watch them become very interested in another customer.

🕹️

Repairs!

If a cabinet flickers, whispers, displays your legal name, or opens onto a location not represented on the floor plan, please find Jess before unplugging anything.

Neon Dreams After Dark

Open late for night owls, shift workers, insomniacs, dedicated high-score chasers, and gentlemen who become unusually interested in the machines along the back corridor whenever the Manhole is closed.

High-score initials may be names, messages, or telephone numbers. Lingering beside the Galaga cabinet is not a formal invitation, though local regulars appear to have developed a complicated etiquette around it.

The restrooms are for customers. The photo booth curtain closes for a reason. Management requests that all multiplayer activity remain consensual and that nobody block the fire exit.
